Update on PFANJ's Lawsuit against the State of New Jersey with respect to the imposed 1.5% Health Insurance Tax.
Today, Friday November 19th, our case was heard in court. Of the 5 arguments that we put forth, the Judge dismissed 1. The Judge is considering the remaining 4, and we anticipate a decision within the next 30 to 45 days.
The State attempted to get the case thrown out, and they were not successful. We were successful in getting the case heard, and we are optimistic on the out come.
